Day 27 - Prayer for Europe
The apostle Paul longed to journey through Europe sharing the Gospel. The church in Europe eventually flourished and experienced some of the strongest movements in church history. (Ever hear of the Reformation?) But now the church there is struggling. One of my seminary friends just moved to Scotland as a missionary! One of the countries that has a rich heritage of faith now has one of the lowest percentages of Christians.
We ought to pray for Europe, that God would bring revival. And pray for God to fill grand church buildings once again with praise for Him.
