Forty Days of Prayer Day 10

Let's cover our community with prayer.

Proverbs 8:10-11 ESV
"Take my instruction instead of silver,
and knowledge rather than choice gold,
for wisdom is better than jewels,
and all that you may desire cannot compare with her."

Day 10 - Prayer for Our Community: College/Graduate Students
It's been said that we should never stop learning; indeed, if we are not growing then we are dying. Let us all be students of God's ways and God's Word. But today we will pray especially for our college and graduate students. Institutions of higher learning are sometimes arenas for much folly and straying from the Lord. Let's pray for those who have come out of our youth ministry or others that we know, locally or away, undergrad or graduate or beyond, who are battling to develop their minds with a heart of faith. Pray for those who are teaching or doing research and involved in stewarding younger minds with the many opportunities before them.

Also pray for our member Clement Lin, InterVarsity staff worker at Emory University, and his ministry to the students there.

Pray for yourself, too, to be a student who is humble and hungry for more of what God has for us to know about Him. Amen?

Let's keep praying! I'm praying for you!

- Pastor David
