Let's cover our community with prayer.

but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised."
Day 12 - Prayer for Our Community: Women
We prayed for the men in our group yesterday and today we lift up our sisters in Christ. In an era where we celebrate the accomplishments of women on one hand, we also grieve at the continued mistreatment of women near and far. We pray for God's protection and for the breaking of sin's hold on our world. We pray for the women of EACF, for a security that comes from the dual status as a co-image bearer of God and as a unique creation within humanity. We pray for a life-giving awareness of the love of God through Jesus Christ within each of our sisters, and a faith-strengthening assurance that comes from fearing and knowing the LORD.
As it is with men, society's definition of womanhood is different from God's. Let's lift one another up to cherish each other as God has created us in our uniqueness and togetherness.
