Forty Days of Prayer Day 7

Sunday is the Lord's Day! It's an entire day to rest from regular activities and reflect on God's goodness and presence in our lives, and to worship Him throughout the day. Take 5, 10, or 30 minutes or more to pray for this topic. Pray continually!

2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV
"And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit."

Day 7 - God's Glory
Today, we will pray for God's glory. What does this mean? Well, it's Sunday, a day for worship. We pray to see and experience God in His glory, majesty, power, and goodness. We honor God for showing us His glory through His plan of salvation of us through Jesus Christ. So we pray to behold the glory of the Lord more and more, for therein we are moved by His goodness to worship. And then we worship with our lives that we might give Him glory through our thoughts, words, deeds, and relationships. So we pray that our lives would be living sacrifices for God's glory.

Are you ready for this? Nothing in this world compares with the glory of the Lord! Hear the invitation (reading Matthew 7 or Acts 9, the sermon passage for today, reinforces this), and respond to God's goodness and love for us.

Let's keep praying! I'm praying for you!
