Forty Days of Prayer Day 11

Let's cover our community with prayer.

Titus 2:2, 6 ESV
"Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love, and in steadfastness. ...Likewise, urge the younger men to be self-controlled."

Day 11 - Prayer for Our Community: Men
I do not think there is a number that delineates which are men and which are boys - most people will say it's all about maturity. Let's pray for the men of EACF to be spiritually, emotionally, relationally mature men. The qualities listed above are a great place to start praying for the men in our group. Imagine if these traits described each male member of our group, how strong would our group of men be? What a blessing that would be to the women and children in our group. Pray for our men to mature. If they are single, to be self-controlled and not prodigals. If they are married, pray for us to be loving and caring for their wives as Christ loves the church. If fathers pray that we would be self-controlled and God-directed in discipling our children in grace.

We need to be praying for the men in our congregation. We need spiritually mature men of all ages in our community. Amen?

Let's keep praying! I'm praying for you!
