Forty Days of Prayer Day 16

Let's cover our community with prayer, especially this week outwardly toward the larger community.

1 Peter 2:12 ESV
"Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak against you as evildoers, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day of visitation."

Day 16- Prayer for Our Workplace/School
Today we're going to pray for our sphere of influence where we spend a lot of our time, at work or school or among peers. We are "in the world" though "not of the world" and as we spend time with people, they will witness Christ's work on us. I had a co-worker in a university office one time ask me why I never lost my temper. People notice stuff about you. Do you have a positive, Christ-honoring presence in your workplace or school? Pray because this is part of how God uses us to make disciples, by being salt and light in the world. Pray for 2-3 people near you this week, even asking them how you can pray for them. Pray for them for a few weeks. Ask God to show them His love. You are being salt and light!

Let's keep praying! I'm praying for you!
