Let's cover our community with prayer, especially this week outwardly toward the larger community.
Matthew 22:37-40 ESV
"And he said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.'"
Day 16- Prayer for Our Homes/Neighborhoods
Today we're going to pray for our sphere of influence where we live. Whether in an apartment or home, with roommates, family, or alone, let's pray for our influence upon those around us. We are salt and light wherever God has placed us. Do your neighbors experience the love and light of God through you? Ask God for a heart for sharing Christ's love with your neighbors, and then interceded for your neighbors, praying for them by name (or description, if you don't yet know their names) and asking God to bless them. Ask God to show them His love, and ask God to give you opportunities to show His love to them.
Let's keep praying! I'm praying for you!
